Well done on the skimo race, Ted & Christy. Would have been fun to watch you guys but was over in Mayflower Gulch that day. Maybe one of these days, Kristine & I will give one of those skimo races a go. Good luck on the local races you guys have coming up.

Vail course looks interesting, but you may have heard from Elliott (he was a marshall; stayed with Mouse and me) about the skimo champioinships on CB Mountain. It involved climbing Class 4 ridges to the peak (skis off) 3 times. The Italian racers did not look like animals but they beat our best local (Travis Sheefer) by half an hour!!!Made us realize there is a whole world (mostly non-American) of elite skimo racers out there who are incredibly good.Janelle Smiley did win the women’s field and on time basis placed 15th overall.
