Thanks to the efforts of pacer/friend Chris Davenport, I ended up with some video footage from Hardrock earlier this summer.
I have to confess, I wasn’t always in the mood to talk when he turned on the Contour HD camera during the late stages of the race, but when I finally got to looking at the footage recently, I was psyched he had brought it with him.
It’s tough to capture the event in a 5 minute home video, but it might be fun to watch anyway.
Thanks Dav for shooting, and thanks again to Christy, Neal, and Dav for all their support out there.

Loved the video! Awesome!!
Great race video. Your Mom is quick with that new Apple laptop.
Thanks. Looks like she’s got the hang of it.
Wow.
Amazing kid Bro!!!!!!!
Now go fold a banana.

Amazing footage you guys ~ definitely captured the spirit of the race…and classic San Juan and Speedgoat moments. So so fun to look back on. Nice work on the video!
Nice video, Ted. Dav is a good bud to put that together for you. I’m sure its a little funny to look back at it. Thanks for the insight into HR100…probably as close as I will come to experiencing it
So it was actually Dav who did all the filming, but it was six weeks after that I went through it and put it together into the home-vid quality masterpiece that it is.
Another team effort.
Congrats, very nice video ….love this race..!
Thanks, it’s fun to look back on. Seems like you get out on the trails quite a bit yourself. Any plans for Hardrock yourself?
